4 Days Bardiya National Park Tour – Wildlife Safari, Jungle Walk & Tharu Cultural Experience

Day 1: Fly to Nepalgunj, Transfer to Bardiya & Tharu Cultural Experience
Your journey begins with a hotel pickup from Kathmandu or Pokhara and a scenic 40-minute flight to Nepalgunj. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a comfortable drive to your lodge in Bardiya. After a refreshing welcome and lunch, explore a traditional Tharu village with your guide and learn about their vibrant culture and timeless way of life.
Continue to the elephant conservation center, followed by a stunning sunset view along the peaceful Karnali River. In the evening, enjoy an authentic Tharu cultural performance before settling in for dinner at your lodge.

Day 2: Exciting Jeep Safari & Crocodile Conservation Visit
Start your day with breakfast surrounded by the sounds of the jungle. Then venture into the core area of Bardiya National Park on a thrilling jeep safari—an excellent opportunity to spot tigers, rhinos, elephants, and a variety of exotic birds.
After lunch at your lodge, visit the crocodile and gharial conservation center, where you’ll learn about the ongoing efforts to protect these rare and endangered species.

Day 3: Deep Jungle Walk & Tiger Tracking to the Machan
Rise early for breakfast before heading out on a guided deep jungle trek. Your walk begins in the buffer zone, home to diverse wildlife and bird species. As you enter the core jungle area, your chances of encountering rare animals—including the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger—significantly increase.
Your destination is a Machan (watchtower), a strategic viewing point offering the best opportunity for wildlife sightings in their natural habitat.

Day 4: Morning Birdwatching & Return Flight
Begin your final morning with a peaceful birdwatching session around the national park’s surroundings—an ideal way to wrap up your wilderness experience. After breakfast, you’ll be driven to Nepalgunj Airport for your return flight to Kathmandu or Pokhara. Upon landing, a private transfer will drop you at your hotel, marking the end of your incredible Bardiya National Park adventure.
